Location, Location, Location

The Bowden ski-in and ski-out apartment provided a compact, well presented and thoughtfully equipped base for our wonderful mini ski-break in Flaine.
Its epic panoramic views of snow laden mountains and sun soaked south-facing balcony also helped make our stay all the more enjoyable.
It’s our second visit to Flaine and we love exploring the extensive Grand Massif ski runs and fine local eateries on and off the slopes.
It’s always a dilemma – should you share your golden finds as perhaps it will mean they won’t be available for you next time, however we’ve decided it would be churlish for us not to share our perfect little escape - enjoy.

What a fantastic apartment and wonderful hosts. Yes, the apartment is compact as described but it suited us (2 adults and a 10 year old) perfectly.
The storage is very well thought out, and the owners have thought of everything you could need. The little oven and dishwasher are great touches, and all utensils and kitchen equipment you could want are covered.
The location is excellent.
One thing that stood out for me was the helpfulness of the owners, both before and during our stay.
The email sent prior to our arrival was extremely detailed and useful. They were always quick to reply and helped with queries and recommendations.
All in all, a fabulous stay.

We had a lovely stay at this place, ideally located for skiing.
The view of the track is beautiful and everything is within walking distance. Having ski-in/ski-out as you go down the building is a real comfort.
The apartment is functional and everything is there for a comfortable stay. Very kind and responsive hosts.
This first experience already wants us to repeat next year.

I stayed here for a few days snowboarding in Flaine
The place was absolutely perfect for a few days in Flaine.
Super easy to find, ski in/ski out, close to the town centre, parking nearby.
The apartment was small but had everything you would need with stunning views of the mountain.
Would 100% stay again.

A tiny bit more expensive than some of the other options BUT local small scale host, really responsive with tailored personalised information.
Beds were made up to our requests and welcome bags waiting for us, clean towels all included and no hidden charges for cleaning.
We used some of their local restaurant and ski hire recommendations, I think this really helped make it a great holiday.

We had a brilliant stay.
Great location at the foot of the slopes and only a short walk to the forum.
The host was lovely, always very responsive and very accommodating to let us have a slightly later checkout.
What was particularly nice about this place over and above similar ski apartments I’ve stayed in in the past is how well equipped it is and it’s homeliness - you can tell the hosts actually stay there themselves and so it is very well looked after.

This lovely little apartment is a real gem right on the slopes a stones throw from the gondola at the bottom of the resort.
South facing balcony and ski in ski out with everything you could need for your stay.
The host is really responsive and nothing is too much trouble and also always ready with lots of useful local information.
We had a very relaxing few days and I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Incredibly friendly hosts who could not have been more helpful!
They were also really friendly and responded to messages incredibly quickly - always with more info than expected!
Apartment may be small, but it’s perfectly formed and contains everything you could conceivably need.
Ski locker has racks for each room, with a lock, but doesn’t fit boards, but suggest if you bring a cable lock you’ll still be able to secure them…room itself is code-locked too!
We really enjoyed our last minute stay - Flaine was the only place in the Grand Massif with snow in January 23!

Just come back from an amazing 4 nights in Flaine.
The apartment was lovely and cosy. It was always warm inside.
The views were beautiful, loved sitting on the balcony at the end of the day with a beer.
The slopes are opposite the apartment, which made it so easy getting to the lifts in the morning, especially with 2 young children.
The main restaurants, supermarket, ski hire area is 5-10 minutes walk. Uphill there, down on way back.
Would definitely recommend and would love to return again in the future.

Second stay at the apartment.
Perfect location opposite a gondola and chairlift.
The apartment is always clean and host always responsive in communicating.
Another great trip to Flaine!

Perfect location so close to everything and the apartment had everything you could need after a day on the slopes.
Fantastic communication from the host.
Would not hesitate to book again.
