You will arrive in The Forum.
Restaurants & Bars
Here are a few, there are many more!

Les Cimes – pizza, European, French +33 4 50 90 89 64
This can be popular so you may wish to book for an evening meal. Les Cimes also offers takeaway and generally has good to excellent ratings. It is ideal for families as there is an extensive and varied menu. Wine is good value whereas (as in most places) soft drinks come out quite expensive. Very friendly service from the team there headed up by Christophe and his wife. A firm favourite of ours! You can book online via their website.
Chez Daniel – French (vegetarian friendly) +33 4 50 90 81 87
A typically Savoyarde meal e.g. Raclette, Fondue, Tartiflette etc which is very popular. . Great food in cosy surroundings - phone or go in person to book.
Monster Burger – American +33 6 18 58 76 75
Vegetarian friendly. This is a casual burger restaurant that is fairly good value for an informal something to eat. Offers burgers or a menu (burger, fries and drink) options. Great for families.
1967– French, European +33 6 34 57 42 71
A steak house offering lunch and evening meal of a range of planches and burgers and meats - perhaps not such a good choice for vegetarians! Book as the interior is small.
Le Michet – French, European +33 4 50 90 80 08
Situated right at the end of the ski slopes in the Forum area. At the more expensive end for eating out but super food and lovely chalet style interior.
L’Epicea – Local Cuisine, French, European +33 4 50 90 83 79
Situated on the green piste of the same name this restaurant offers a range of food and is vegetarian friendly. It has a large terrace where you can watch the skiers and enjoy the sun. It also has a small shop selling t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats etc. Only open in the daytime.
La Ponte a Jules – French, European +33 4 50 90 87 42
Situated on the piste at the foot of Almandine. Offers outside space, WiFi in the restaurant and music.
Great hot chocolate and burgers. Only open during the day.
The White Pub – Near to the Chapel and just on the left as you reach The Forum. Often has live music. Also serves food and a good selection of beers.
Chez Pierrot On the first floor of the forum – opposite the pharmacy. This is a lovely little traditional restaurant serving pizzas and local food including tartiflette. It can get busy so we recommend booking. Well worth a try.

Sabaudia Situated in Flaine Foret. A great restaurant with local Savoyarde cuisine alongside a range of options including fabulous burgers and falafel! It is a small restaurant and we recommend you book. You need to ring to book.

Beyond The Forum
There are other areas of Flaine:
Le Foret – has another shopping centre, some restaurants, ski hire shops and bars. You can access Forest via the Funicular lift – go to the first floor of the Forum Centre and the lift entrance is just across the road by Apartments Vega. We like Restaurant La Sabaudia in Forest but do book!
Hameau – this is a hamlet of Scandinavian style chalets – there is not much else there other than L’Ancolie Restaurant – great local cuisine and high quality food but quite expensive. Happy Hour is 5-6pm. Laureant will always offer a warm welcome along with the open fire there.
To get around Flaine there is a free shuttle bus service that runs every 15 minutes from each stop from Foret and round from 08.25 – about 18.30. Find out more here
